Ashutosh’s work has focused on catalysing learning and growth opportunities for children and youth, especially girls and young women. He has been intrigued by what gets them excited about their future and how they initiate their journeys as self learners. Given how multiple complexities and realities intertwine in India, he has kept education and sustainable livelihoods at the core of his practice.
Ashutosh has worked with development organisations across the spectrum (including Quest Alliance) and come to realise the critical role of civil society organisations. He has made an earnest attempt during this journey to understand how social justice plays out differently for different sections of our population and locate the work of civil society in this reality. Ashutosh continues to believe in the power of strong and humane NGOs/ CBOs/ enablers in the development sector.
