Secretariat
The secretariat is co-hosted by Azad Foundation and Samaan Society and coordinated by Dolon Ganguly, Chief Functionary of Azad Foundation and Rajendra Bandhu, Founder & Executive Director of Samaan Society.
Dolon is an intersectional feminist with 30 years of experience in India’s development sector, primarily promoting women’s economic and social rights. She has been actively involved in the women’s movements in India and policy engagement to further women’s rights. Dolon is a published writer in leading Bengali journals and dailies and received the Laadli Media Award in 2013. She has been actively engaged in fostering cis and trans women’s inclusion in non-traditional livelihoods for the past decade.
Rajendra Bandhu has been an active social worker for the past 35 years. He specializes in people’s centric writing and has received many awards including Tarun Bhaduri award, Sarojini Naidu Award, Ladli Media Award, National Media Fellowship by NFI, and Peam Bhatia Scholarship. His major areas of interest are self-government and gender equality.
